This lush set of 8 beads are made with a base of opal yellow. Periwinkle and lavender flowers have been placed round the bead and finally etched to give the appearance you can see. They have been made on 2mm mandrels and measure approx 14mm x 9mm
The opal yellow has reacted in the flame to give a slight pink blush in places on the beads hence the name!
SOLD - THANK YOU
This absolutely scrummy set of 5 beads are made with light emerald green glass by Effetre and have aurae shards placed round the bead. For added texture I have added some twists and left them raised. In sunlight these are truly scrummy
Made on 2 mm mandrels these 5 beads are slightly different in that a couple are more round than others but they all make a gorgeous set. The largest bead is approx 16mm across the hole and the smallest is 13mm across the hole.
This set of 5 beads are made with Bullseye glass. These are the first beads that I have used dichroic glass in that I am happy with. This gives a little hint of sparkle round the blue glass in the middle. I have placed random twists in the glass and left these raised to give a tactile feel to the bead. Another view can be seen in my Flickr album here
These beads measure approx 20mm across and have been made on 2mm mandrels.
Another fritty focal for you. This time a base of blue has some frit melted in and then encased with clear and more frit melted and swirled over the top! There is also a little silver foil over the blue for good measure! there are little raised swirls on both sides of the bead as well.
Bead measures approx 26mm long and 17mm wide and has been made on a 2.4 mm mandrel
